One day course including theory and practical training concerning what happens when you enter the water and how to give yourself the best chance of survival
One day course covering the essentials of First Aid. Candidates find the course useful and interesting for work and other situations where practical First Aid could be the difference between life and death
One day course covering the theory behind fire prevention and control along with a practical session using a range of fire extinguishers
One day general Safety Awareness course including Risk Assessment. This course is usually taken a short while after the 3 courses above and helps to summarise these and help those involved in the catching sector to be able to carry out effective Risk Assessment

Courses are held at a variety of locations around the Eastern Region to coincide with the demand wherever possible. These have included Kings Lynn, , Boston, Brightlingsea, Leigh on Sea, Norwich, Caister on Sea, Happisburgh, Orford and Felixstowe.

This replaces the VHF Course previously required and can also be used to update anyone holding a VHF Licence to include the DSC requirement.
